This comprehensive manual is a joint publication of Child Sight Foundation, Perkins International, and Australian Volunteers for International Development.  It was developed as part of an innovative program to reach unserved children with disabilities in rural and remote areas of Bangladesh, where services are very limited.  The manual is designed to assist adults who are not rehabilitation professionals provide intervention to support children with disabilities in their community.  The goal of the transition program described in the manual is to: “Increase the child’s participation in their family, school and community.”
